Our Office
Our facility offers a full range of women's health services. The office has been designed with patients needs for comfort and confidentiality in mind. Patients will come in contact with a limited number of professional support staff: receptionist, medical technologist, nurses, and physician/nurse practitioner; during a routine visit. Administrative services are in the center of the facility separate from patient care areas.
Mammography and screening for osteoporosis are two new services that are being offered. Mammograms are performed by a certified mammography technician and are read by board certified radiologists. Bone densitometry studies are screening exams for osteoporosis. These studies are performed by a certified x-ray technician and are read by our physicians. All physicians who read bone densitometry studies have taken specialized courses in bone densitometry and bone health.
Carteret Ob-Gyn uses the facilities of Carteret General Hospital for surgery
